Description

  • Design, build, maintain, and scale backend services and supporting tools.
  • Participate in architectural decisions and definitions with creativity and innovation.
  • Create automation and tooling to improve scalability and deployment efficiency.
  • Work directly with a multidisciplinary team to support customers and partners.
  • Research new tools and services to understand complex scenarios and propose new features.
  • Operate in an agile, DevOps-oriented environment where teams build and maintain their own software.
  • Help architect and scale next-generation alerting solutions for large-scale distributed systems.
  • Contribute to the end-to-end lifecycle of critical notifications from trigger to delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in software development, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a software engineer working in Java, NodeJS, and/or Go.
  • Strong computer science background and an aptitude for learning new languages quickly.
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale software systems using modern programming languages and frameworks.
  • Proven ability to mentor software engineers and guide teams toward technical excellence.
  • Strong understanding of scalable distributed systems and microservices architecture.
  • Ability to design and implement solutions that meet performance and scalability requirements.
  • Passion for exploring new technologies and staying current with observability and related industry trends.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, serverless, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Contribution to open source projects is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the listed tech stacks is a plus.
  • Experience with build and test automation is a plus.
  • Experience in technical mentorship and helping others level up is a plus.
  • Experience with asynchronous programming techniques such as streams, event-based flows, task queues, and message queues is a plus.
