Description

  • Own messaging and positioning for advanced observability solutions across technical and executive audiences.
  • Design and execute go-to-market plans for new observability products from launch through adoption.
  • Develop technical blogs, webinars, case studies, and other content for developer and technical communities.
  • Partner with Sales and Enablement to provide tools, insights, and materials that support competitive selling.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to bring market insights and customer feedback into the roadmap.
  • Use data and performance insights to measure impact, iterate on programs, and improve operational excellence.
  • Translate complex cloud infrastructure concepts such as Kubernetes, eBPF, and serverless architectures into clear customer value propositions.
  • Represent the voice of the product to the market and the voice of the market back to the product.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, platform engineering, or sales engineering at a high-growth B2B software company.
  • Strong understanding of the cloud-native infrastructure ecosystem, including microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience launching products for developers and crafting compelling corporate messaging.
  • Expertise in developer tools and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for general audiences.
  • Proven ability to position B2B products for growth and support pipeline, deal velocity, and closure rates.
  • Superior communication, interpersonal, presentation, and public speaking skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with strong technical and business acumen.
  • Experience analyzing and refining best practices and processes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Experience positioning technical products for both technical users and economic decision-makers.
  • Ability to partner effectively across engineering, product, sales, and marketing and build consensus in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree or related experience.
  • Bonus: Direct experience in Observability, APM, or Frontend development.
  • Bonus: Background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Bonus: 10+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or product management.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with open source monitoring technologies.
