Description

  • Establish and advocate for AI-powered governance workflows that standardize telemetry data and maintain dynamic data dictionaries as a single source of truth.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of product usage and financial data to identify trends, behaviors, and business impact that inform product decisions.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs that measure product adoption, revenue impact, and customer retention.
  • Create and present data-driven reports and presentations that show how product improvements affect business results.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Engineering to build business narratives, metrics, and analyses.
  • Define and test hypotheses and translate findings into practical insights through data visualizations.
  • Stay current with emerging AI tools for data discovery, automated governance, and advanced analytics.
  • Lead the end-to-end analytics lifecycle, including pipelines, data modeling, data quality, standards, and metadata management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6 years of experience, including at least 2 years in Product Analytics.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Experience using AI-assisted workflows such as GitHub Copilot and LLMs to accelerate code development, automate documentation, and enhance data exploration.
  • Proven ability to independently lead the end-to-end analytics lifecycle, from building pipelines and data modeling to driving data governance.
  • Expertise in building scalable reporting and self-service dashboards using Tableau or Looker.
  • Demonstrated ability to distill complex findings into precise, actionable insights for executive leadership.
  • Practical experience applying statistical methods such as regression, classification, or time-series analysis to solve business problems and validate product hypotheses.
  • Hands-on experience with OpenMetadata or similar data discovery and cataloging platforms is preferred.
  • Prior experience collaborating with engineering to deploy and monitor AI/ML models such as churn prediction or propensity models is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the observability space or experience using the New Relic platform to analyze telemetry data is preferred.
