Description

  • Own the revenue-related month-end close and ensure financial reporting is accurate, timely, and transparent.
  • Review customer contracts and non-standard terms to determine the correct revenue treatment.
  • Prepare and reconcile revenue schedules, including deferred revenue and contract assets and liabilities.
  • Provide clear accounting documentation for revenue conclusions and treatments.
  • Improve Order-to-Cash processes through continuous process streamlining and innovation.
  • Support SOX audit controls and maintain compliance in a controlled environment.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on special projects and ad hoc requests.
  • Partner with the Revenue Accounting Senior Manager and broader stakeholders on revenue accounting matters.

Requirements

  • Strong accounting background, likely from Big 4 audit/advisory and US public company experience.
  • Deep knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606.
  • Experience working in a SOX-controlled environment.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote setting.
  • Ability to explain complex accounting conclusions to stakeholders across the business.
  • Experience with SaaS or consumption-based revenue models is preferred.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite, Zuora, or Salesforce CPQ is preferred.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
