Description

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise wired and wireless networks for the US region with a focus on scalability, security, and high availability.
  • Own and maintain network connectivity between branch offices worldwide while partnering with global teams to standardize architecture and operations.
  • Manage remote access systems, including VPN capacity planning, resiliency, and continuous improvement.
  • Deploy, maintain, and improve automation and monitoring tools while driving automation-first operations.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex network incidents across regions and providers, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures.
  • Test, evaluate, and introduce new network equipment and technologies, then share findings and recommendations with global R&D teams.
  • Collaborate with telecom service providers in the US and globally, including leading escalations, managing SLAs, and driving service improvements.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP technologies.
  • Familiarity with dynamic routing protocols.
  • Experience with automation using Python, Go, or other popular programming languages, including designing and maintaining production-grade automation.
  • Proficiency in Unix system administration.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade network hardware such as Cisco, Aruba, Arista, Extreme, or Juniper.
  • Ability to work independently and own outcomes end to end in a senior or lead capacity.
  • Experience with network automation frameworks such as Ansible, Terraform, NetBox, Nornir, or SaltStack (preferred).
  • Experience designing, developing, and operating high-load distributed systems (preferred).
  • Experience building high-density enterprise wireless networks, ideally CWNA level or higher (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of IPv6 (preferred).
