Description

  • Build and mature Nava’s Proposal Management practice to improve proposal quality and support growth goals.
  • Lead cross-functional proposal teams (Client Solutions Managers, Subject Matter Experts, reviewers, and teaming partners) through well-structured proposal efforts.
  • Deconstruct solicitation requirements, develop and orchestrate proposal schedules, and manage concurrent proposal efforts without sacrificing clarity or quality.
  • Develop and maintain compliance checklists and the compliance architecture for each opportunity, including evaluation criteria, required forms, and contractual documents.
  • Author and edit proposal content describing Nava’s capabilities, past performance, and approach.
  • Curate, organize, and build evergreen content that communicates Nava’s capabilities, projects, and modern practices.
  • Coordinate with Capture Managers and Nava leadership (Contracts, Staffing, etc.) to engage the right stakeholders at the right times.
  • Guide multi-vendor teams and external partners to a winning bid by providing structure, gathering input, and maintaining order, calm, and accountability.

Requirements

  • 4+ years managing large solicitation responses for federal, state, or local clients.
  • Experience in Government Contracting (IT industry), including proposals/procurements and contracting and familiarity with US Federal or State government processes.
  • Must have government proposal experience and general knowledge of terminology/acronyms, and application of NAICS and FAR.
  • Understanding of cyclical requirements, timelines, and expectations of federal business development, proposals, and contractors.
  • Professional writing, editing, and communication skills in English and ability to represent Nava externally at industry and networking events.
  • Experience developing and iterating consistent and effective Proposal Management processes and curating evergreen content.
  • Experience creating or working with experts to translate complex concepts into compelling graphical and narrative content, particularly for modern digital services or custom development.
  • Ability to guide multi-vendor teams, adapt in ambiguous situations, and establish structure, accountability, and calm under pressure.
  • Highly resourceful, reliable, detail-oriented, collaborative, empathetic, and positive mindset.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship (now or in the future); may be subject to a government background check or security clearance; must reside in and work from one of the contiguous U.S. states listed by Nava.

  • Salary range $103,000–$117,000 per year.
