Description

  • Design and build an AI-first development platform with unified interfaces for tasks such as environment provisioning, automated PR reviews, and self-documenting codebases.
  • Embed AI-driven capabilities into CI/CD pipelines and observability systems to support predictive scaling, incident triage, and self-healing operations.
  • Develop AI-assisted FinOps workflows to automate cost attribution, anomaly detection, and optimization recommendations across AWS and other cloud environments.
  • Implement governance guardrails that enforce architectural standards and security policies without reducing developer velocity.
  • Build production-grade internal tools that use agentic reasoning to solve day-two operational challenges for product teams.
  • Integrate natural language and conversational AI interfaces into the Internal Developer Portal to improve developer interaction with the platform.
  • Transform telemetry into executive-ready insights through advanced data modeling and AI-driven visualization.
  • Partner with senior leadership to evaluate AI architecture trade-offs such as build vs. buy and model selection.
  • Mentor and upskill engineers on advanced AI tooling, prompt engineering for infrastructure, and agentic system deployment.
  • Drive internal adoption of emerging GenAI tools, patterns, and workflows across the organization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering or platform/infrastructure engineering.
  • AWS experience is preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with modern CI/CD patterns.
  • Expert-level experience applying AI techniques such as summarization, RAG, and agentic reasoning to operational workflows.
  • Expert Python skills and experience with AWS SDKs.
  • Experience building complex integrations and custom CLI/API tools.
  • Proven history of leading large-scale, cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, build consensus across teams, and deliver measurable business impact.
  • Ability to present complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience building Internal Developer Portals with a platform-as-a-product and user-centric design mindset.
  • Bonus: experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or other AI orchestration frameworks.
  • Bonus: contributions to open-source platforms or AI projects.
  • Bonus: experience with vector databases and fine-tuning models for domain-specific tasks.
