Description

  • Maintain and evolve scalable AWS cost ingestion pipelines, including the AWS Cost and Usage Report (CUR).
  • Support AI-driven automation for predictive scaling, cost-saving recommendations, and autonomous FinOps workflows.
  • Use GitLab CI/CD to version, deploy, and automate FinOps governance workflows.
  • Manage FinOps infrastructure as code with Terraform.
  • Support ingestion and normalization of cost and usage data from SaaS platforms through APIs and integrations.
  • Build and maintain Amazon QuickSight dashboards with dataset modeling and row-level security.
  • Implement AI-driven cost alerts to improve anomaly detection and speed up root cause analysis.
  • Integrate natural language interfaces into the Internal Developer Portal to enable conversational access to cost data.
  • Implement monitoring and data quality checks to ensure cost data accuracy and completeness.
  • Support modeling and tracking of Savings Plans and Reserved Instances, and enforce tagging and cost allocation standards.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with AWS strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience delivering measurable cost optimization or cloud governance impact.
  • Proficiency in Python for production-grade automation and AWS SDK/API integration.
  • Experience applying AI techniques such as summarization or RAG to operational workflows.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale datasets.
  • Experience with Snowflake or NoSQL databases is a plus.
  • Experience building ELT pipelines is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and Kubernetes (EKS).
