Description

  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Python and PySpark.
  • Develop scalable data solutions with international product and engineering teams.
  • Analyze real-world engineering data and build data-quality solutions.
  • Investigate, debug, and resolve Tier 2 system issues.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, checklists, and workflows.
  • Configure new customer tenants and support smooth data onboarding.
  • Write unit and integration tests for data services.
  • Manage code and CI/CD workflows in GitLab.
  • Use Databricks and Azure for data processing, management, and cloud operations.
  • Identify and develop self-service tools that improve data onboarding.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience as a data engineer, software engineer, or in a relevant field.
  • Working knowledge of Python for building or maintaining data pipelines and troubleshooting code issues.
  • Experience working with large codebases, an IDE, and Git.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and practical SQL experience.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
  • Knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, or similar data platforms.
  • Experience creating and maintaining structured documentation.
  • Proficiency with testing frameworks such as pytest.
  • Experience with GitLab or equivalent version-control and collaboration tools.
  • English and Polish proficiency at B2+ level.
  • Strong collaboration, learning agility, and proactive communication skills.
  • Experience with Apache Spark/PySpark, Docker, or Kubernetes (preferred).
  • Ability to travel to Oslo, Norway, once or twice per year for team building (preferred).
