Description

  • Partner with business leaders and department heads to map current processes, gather requirements, and identify high-value AI and automation opportunities.
  • Design, prototype, and implement AI-powered workflows, agentic solutions, copilots, and multi-step orchestrations.
  • Build and optimize retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines using secure internal data.
  • Develop and maintain integrations across systems using APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms.
  • Implement observability, monitoring, evaluation, and guardrails for AI agents and workflows.
  • Coordinate with third-party delivery partners and vendors to execute the AI and automation backlog.
  • Review solution designs for quality, security, and maintainability.
  • Lead user acceptance testing, gather feedback, refine solutions, and support rollout and adoption.
  • Provide technical input to the CIO and project manager on sizing, sequencing, and prioritization of work.
  • Identify and escalate security risks and support remediation efforts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in roles such as solutions engineer, automation engineer, AI engineer, or similar.
  • Experience in a B2B, IT services, VAR, or MSP environment is preferred.
  • Proven experience designing, building, and deploying AI-powered solutions using modern LLMs such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
  • Experience with prompt design, tool or agent definition, and evaluation.
  • Experience with enterprise AI and agent platforms or frameworks such as StackAI, AutoGen, CrewAI, OpenAI AgentKit, Dify, Dust, Langflow, LlamaIndex, Fetch AI, or comparable tools.
  • Strong experience with APIs and integrations, including Microsoft Graph API, OpenAI APIs, webhooks, OAuth, SAML, and JSON-based data transformations.
  • Hands-on experience with automation and orchestration tools such as Power Automate, Zapier, n8n, or Make.
  • Familiarity with vector databases and retrieval frameworks such as Weaviate, Pinecone, Qdrant, or Chroma.
  • Experience designing for observability, safety, and governance of AI systems, including logging, monitoring, evaluation, and guardrails.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate working sessions, elicit requirements, translate business needs into technical designs, and run effective UAT.
  • Comfort working in a Microsoft 365–centric environment; experience with Power Apps and Power BI is a plus.
  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Travel up to 10% may be required.
