Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs, including public TTS APIs and internal APIs for payments, subscriptions, authentication, and consumption tracking.
  • Oversee the full backend API landscape and improve performance and maintainability.
  • Build and maintain backend services that support payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text-to-speech, and external APIs.
  • Collaborate on B2B solutions with an emphasis on customization and integration for enterprise clients.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
  • Contribute to product decisions in a fast-paced, strategic environment.
  • Own backend systems with attention to scalability and business requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backend development with TS/Node (required).
  • Direct experience with GCP.
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
  • Ability to ideate and implement efficiently while prioritizing work based on urgency and impact.
  • Preferred: Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
  • Preferred: Experience deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a flat, distributed organization.
  • Availability to participate in a multi-step technical interview process completed within about 1 week.
  • Portfolio and LinkedIn links to be included when applying.
