Description

  • Build and guide Murmuration’s product marketing program, including strategy, processes, and systems that improve cross-functional collaboration.
  • Own product messaging and storytelling in partnership with the Sr. Manager of Growth Marketing.
  • Build and maintain the product sales enablement library and identify content gaps with the Growth Team.
  • Lead go-to-market planning, execution, and measurement for priority products and launches, including Explorer.
  • Create and oversee product marketing content and campaigns that support acquisition, adoption, and partner success.
  • Run the product marketing email program in collaboration with Product, Growth, and Success teams.
  • Execute paid campaigns focused on key product features, updates, and distribution strategies.
  • Conduct market, community, and partner research, including managing external vendors when needed.
  • Provide internal teams with messaging, collateral, and training to support consistent product communication.
  • Develop sponsorship and event opportunities that advance growth goals and coordinate related deliverables.

Requirements

  • 4–7+ years of product marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, civic tech, data products, or mission-driven technology.
  • Experience building product marketing foundations such as positioning, messaging, launch processes, paid campaigns, and core collateral.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with the ability to distill complex products into clear, persuasive narratives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead go-to-market efforts for new products and features across multiple teams.
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
  • Community research instincts and a strong desire to understand partner and prospective partner needs, constraints, and motivations.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity, creating structure, and iterating quickly.
  • Collaborative, low-ego approach with the ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Commitment to Murmuration’s mission and interest in strengthening civic life.
  • Experience with research and data-driven products, preferred.
  • Experience with paid campaigns and analytics tracking, preferred.
