Description

  • Lead the implementation of technical data governance controls across Microsoft platforms.
  • Define and enforce data governance policies aligned with audit, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Support data residency and multi-tenant governance restrictions across the environment.
  • Manage governance and control measures for Power BI and related analytics platforms.
  • Implement automation and basic CI/CD processes for governance workflows.
  • Work with Microsoft Purview policies and controls to operationalize governance.
  • Apply governance considerations for Copilot and other AI-related capabilities.
  • Collaborate on the use of security and compliance tools such as Information Barriers, Sensitivity Labels, and trainable classifiers.
  • Assess and support governance implications of Azure Synapse and Microsoft Fabric deployments.

Requirements

  • Advanced professional English level (C1).
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Purview, including policies and controls.
  • Practical knowledge of Azure Synapse and/or Microsoft Fabric.
  • Experience with Power BI from a governance and control perspective.
  • Hands-on experience with PowerShell or CLI tools.
  • Experience implementing automation and basic CI/CD.
  • Experience in multi-tenant environments and data residency restrictions.
  • Knowledge of Defender for Cloud Apps (MCAS) is desirable.
  • Experience with Information Barriers and Sensitivity Labels in Power BI is desirable.
  • Experience with trainable classifiers and Copilot governance / AI implications is desirable.

  • Payment in USD.
