Description

  • Build and lead the compliance, privacy, and trust organization, including hiring, team development, and control-environment decisions.
  • Develop an integrated control framework spanning ISO 27001/27701, SOC 1, SOC 2, PCI DSS, FedRAMP, GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA.
  • Own the audit calendar, assessor relationships, certifications, and Motive’s path to FedRAMP authorization.
  • Manage privacy operations, including data subject requests, DPIAs, ROPA, and cross-border data transfers.
  • Lead regulatory readiness for new markets, including data residency and regional architecture requirements.
  • Own customer-facing trust operations, including the trust portal, security questionnaires, reviews, and enterprise escalations.
  • Build an AI-first operating model using evidence automation, continuous control monitoring, and AI-assisted questionnaire response.
  • Maintain security policies, standards, exceptions, training, phishing simulations, and human-risk measurement.
  • Establish AI governance for product and internal AI use based on ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF, and the EU AI Act.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in security compliance, GRC, privacy, audit, or risk management, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
  • Hands-on experience writing policies, designing controls, building mappings, participating in audit fieldwork, and handling customer security questions.
  • Experience owning multi-framework compliance programs in a cloud-native SaaS environment, including ISO 27001, SOC 1, SOC 2, and PCI DSS.
  • Operational privacy experience with GDPR and CCPA/CPRA, including DSARs, DPIAs, ROPA, and cross-border transfers.
  • Experience launching compliance and privacy programs in international markets; familiarity with PIPEDA/Law 25, LGPD, or LFPDPPP preferred.
  • FedRAMP authorization or Moderate/High readiness experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated use of AI for compliance activities such as evidence collection, questionnaire response, control monitoring, policy drafting, or audit preparation.
  • Experience leading customer-facing trust functions and globally distributed teams across time zones.
  • Working knowledge of AI governance frameworks and practical AI risk management.
  • IPO readiness, SOX or regulated-environment experience, and handling sensitive personal data at scale preferred.
