Description

  • Build scalable backend services, CI/CD pipelines, build systems, toolchains, and internal platforms that support developer workflows.
  • Improve reliability, performance, scalability, and observability across distributed systems by introducing new tools and features.
  • Partner with engineering teams to analyze and optimize AWS spend through cost-effective infrastructure strategies.
  • Monitor system performance and health and proactively identify and resolve issues before they affect users.
  • Contribute to system architecture decisions and technical roadmaps.
  • Work closely with teams across the organization to deliver high-quality service to internal customers.
  • Support the internal developer platform and productivity tooling used by engineers to ship code faster and more efficiently.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent knowledge and work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in SRE or DevOps-related roles.
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or Jenkins.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong background in modern programming languages such as Python, Go, or C++.
  • Ability to understand ambiguous goals and convert them into software requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the AV industry or robotics is preferred.
  • Deep expertise with monorepo development tools and services such as Bazel is preferred.
  • Experience supporting P1 and P0 systems on-call is preferred.
  • Experience building or extending AI/LLM integrations, especially Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, is preferred.
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification is preferred.
