Description

  • Support end-to-end monthly payroll across multiple countries and payroll providers, including data preparation from Workday, provider coordination, approvals, and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
  • Manage payroll compliance activities including reconciliations, statutory filings, tax reporting, and providing audit evidence across jurisdictions.
  • Handle payroll-related HR administration such as onboarding/offboarding, lifecycle changes, employee payroll queries, and local authority reporting.
  • Maintain and improve payroll processes, documentation, calendars, and systems while driving standardisation and vendor performance tracking.
  • Support payroll cost optimisation initiatives and monitor vendor performance to improve service delivery and efficiency.
  • Contribute to payroll projects and transformation activities, including M&A integrations, new entity setups, centralisation efforts, and other People Team initiatives.
  • Improve payroll data quality, visibility, and reporting for Finance, Legal, and People teams.
  • Absorb day-to-day (BAU) payroll workload to enable the Payroll Manager to focus on strategic delivery and long-term transformation.

Requirements

  • Experience in payroll operations administration in a multi-entity or international environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of data accuracy.
  • Experience working with various payroll providers and external vendors.
  • Understanding of payroll compliance, statutory reporting, tax reporting, and audit requirements.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines concurrently.
  • Comfortable working with payroll and HR systems such as Workday, ADP, Deel, Payassist (or similar platforms).
  • Confident communicator able to collaborate with Finance, Legal, People teams, and external partners.
  • Experience supporting payroll projects and transformation initiatives (e.g., M&A integrations, new entity setups, centralisation) is desirable.
  • Willingness to work on a 12-month fixed-term contract and operate in the listed remote/hybrid locations (India, Portugal, Spain, Romania or other MoonPay locations).
