Description

  • Identify system gaps and operational inefficiencies and build solutions that improve the platform.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of technical direction, system health, and delivery outcomes.
  • Define direction, shape systems, and make architectural and product decisions.
  • Set roadmap priorities and continuously extend existing systems without close guidance.
  • Design and maintain robust test suites as a core part of development.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate departmental workflows into software solutions.
  • Design internal tools and admin panels for usability, maintainability, and long-term evolution.
  • Work independently and bring structure to ambiguous, complex projects.
  • Build pragmatic solutions in smaller-scale environments where thoughtful trade-offs matter.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software development.
  • Deep, senior-level expertise in Ruby on Rails and React.
  • Proven senior profile with experience defining direction and making architectural and product decisions.
  • Strong end-to-end ownership and ability to operate with limited guidance.
  • Extensive experience designing and maintaining robust test suites.
  • Clear focus on admin panels and internal tooling.
  • Experience working closely with internal stakeholders across varying levels of complexity.
  • Background in smaller-scale environments such as internal tools or limited user bases.
  • Strong communication skills to translate needs into well-structured solutions.
  • Self-directed senior mindset with ability to work independently and handle ambiguity.
