Description

  • Lead nationwide property searches, site evaluations, acquisitions, and commercial lease negotiations.
  • Conduct property due diligence with Legal counsel and estate surveyors, including title and structural checks.
  • Develop centralized procurement strategies and maintain a pre-qualified vendor network across Nigeria.
  • Standardize pricing and supply chains for construction, fit-out, security, signage, MEP, and power systems.
  • Review project drawings and specifications with architects, quantity surveyors, facilities teams, and consultants.
  • Analyze market rates, maintain pricing logs, and identify value-engineering and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Manage tenders, RFPs, contract awards, vendor onboarding, compliance, SLAs, and construction agreements.
  • Negotiate credit terms, performance bonds, advance payment guarantees, retention fees, and other commercial protections.
  • Coordinate FF&E logistics and support branch facility handovers, including warranties and operating manuals.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of progressive procurement and strategic sourcing experience.
  • Proven experience with capital projects, corporate real estate acquisition, interior fit-outs, or commercial construction.
  • Experience leading commercial property searches, site selections, acquisitions, and complex lease negotiations.
  • Procurement experience in commercial banking, high-growth fintech, or a tier-1 Nigerian construction/project management firm.
  • Experience managing supply chains, logistics, and local market dynamics across multiple Nigerian regions.
  • Qualification in procurement, supply chain management, estate management, business administration, or a related field.
  • CIPS, CIPSMN, NIESV, or similar professional certification or membership is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian commercial real estate, leasing laws, BOQs, cost analysis, construction contracts, and lease agreements.
  • Proficiency with e-procurement, ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite, and project management tools.
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, commercial judgment, and ability to work under tight project schedules.
