Description

  • Design and own the Google channel strategy across UAC/App Campaigns, Performance Max, and Search for personal and business banking acquisition.
  • Build and maintain campaign structures that separate signals, audiences, and bidding logic across the dual-product funnel.
  • Set bidding strategies, budget allocation frameworks, and creative testing cycles, and own campaign performance from brief through reporting.
  • Architect and own the measurement stack, including Firebase/GA4 event taxonomy, Google Tag Manager, and server-side event pipelines.
  • Lead implementation of Conversion APIs and enhanced conversions to improve signal quality sent back to Google.
  • Define and own the attribution model, including evaluation of last-click, data-driven, and custom approaches.
  • Partner with engineering and data teams to ensure event data is accurate, complete, and timely.
  • Build audit protocols for tracking coverage and attribution consistency and surface gaps before they affect decisions.
  • Own the economic model for Google acquisition, including CAC targets, assumptions, and review cadence by product, segment, and channel variant.
  • Develop payback period and LTV/CAC models, diagnose CAC drift, and translate channel performance into clear business language for senior stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on paid acquisition experience, with most of that time spent on Google UAC/App Campaigns at meaningful scale.
  • Deep technical knowledge of Google campaign infrastructure, including bidding algorithms, audience signals, creative specs, and Smart Bidding.
  • Proven ability to architect and own the full measurement stack, including Firebase, GA4, GTM, and Conversion APIs.
  • Fluency in LTV/CAC modelling and using those models to make budgeting and bidding decisions.
  • Experience in fintech or financial services, with knowledge of compliance and trust dynamics for financial products.
  • Experience running Google acquisition in Sub-Saharan Africa or comparable emerging markets, with Nigeria experience as a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with server-side conversion APIs, offline conversion imports, and enhanced conversions in cookieless or app-first environments.
  • Experience working with data science or analytics teams to build custom bidding signals and offline LTV imports into Google systems.
  • Prior work on dual-product or dual-segment acquisition with separate funnel logic.
  • Ability to operate within Google advertising constraints for financial services, including policy, verification, and creative compliance.
