Description

  • Lead operational support for data pipelines, integrations, APIs, reports, jobs, models, datasets, and platform services.
  • Design and deliver complex data engineering, integration, analytics, reporting, and platform solutions.
  • Lead technical design for pipelines, API and file-based integrations, sFTP and EDI exchanges, dbt models, Databricks workflows, and Power BI data assets.
  • Improve platform reliability through automation, monitoring, alerting, logging, reconciliation, runbooks, and support procedures.
  • Investigate recurring production issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement permanent remediation.
  • Coordinate CI/CD improvements, testing, deployment readiness, releases, production validation, and operational handoffs.
  • Manage assigned Azure DevOps work items and support sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Ensure data products and integrations are reliable, traceable, aligned across platforms, and support medallion architecture patterns.
  • Review engineering designs, code, models, integration flows, test plans, and deployment plans.
  • Mentor engineers and collaborate with business stakeholders, external partners, and infrastructure, security, network, application, and reporting teams.

Requirements

  • Significant experience building and supporting data pipelines, integrations, analytics platforms, reporting data assets, or cloud data solutions.
  • Strong experience with several technologies including Databricks, dbt, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Lakeflow, Azure DevOps, SQL, Python, Spark, APIs, sFTP, or EDI data exchanges.
  • Experience designing production-ready solutions and supporting operational environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD, source control, testing, deployment, and release practices.
  • Ability to lead technical work and guide junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Strong communication, documentation, troubleshooting, and stakeholder-management abilities.
  • Understanding of HIPAA, HITRUST, PHI handling, privacy, and healthcare compliance requirements.
  • Ability to communicate with technical teams, business stakeholders, external partners, and leadership.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without current or future immigration sponsorship.
  • Ability to travel to Ankeny, Iowa for company-paid new-hire orientation, training, and onboarding if hired remotely.

  • Salary range of $120,000–$130,000 plus a 10% annual bonus target.
