Description

  • Analyze user behavior and identify friction points throughout the client journey.
  • Conduct usability testing, user research, and review feedback to uncover UX issues and opportunities.
  • Create user journeys, process maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Design new product features and improve existing workflows such as onboarding, authentication, task management, payments, document uploads, and client communications.
  • Simplify complex workflows and improve task completion rates and conversion outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, attorneys, legal staff, and operations leaders to translate business and legal requirements into user-centered solutions.
  • Establish and maintain a scalable design system with reusable patterns and components.
  • Define UX standards, best practices, and success metrics for future product development.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to implement analytics and user behavior tracking.
  • Use data and customer feedback to inform design decisions and shape long-term product strategy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, or a related field.
  • Experience designing SaaS or web-based applications.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating UX problem-solving and workflow optimization.
  • Expertise in user flows, wireframing, prototyping, and interaction design.
  • Advanced proficiency with Figma.
  • Experience collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineers.
  • Strong understanding of information architecture and usability principles.
  • Experience designing for complex, multi-step workflows.
  • Experience in LegalTech, FinTech, HealthTech, Insurance, or other workflow-heavy industries (preferred).
  • Experience conducting usability testing and user research (preferred).
  • Experience implementing or leveraging product analytics (preferred).
  • Experience building and maintaining design systems (preferred).
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices (preferred).
  • Ability to communicate professionally with employees, leadership, attorneys, support staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and remain organized and detail-oriented under pressure.
  • Ability to work in a primarily computer-based environment and occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Candidates must be able to perform the role with or without reasonable accommodation.
