Description

  • Own end-to-end data extraction workflows across complex websites and deliver structured datasets.
  • Use internal tools such as Apify and OpenRouter alongside custom workflows to accelerate scraping and validation.
  • Extract data from dynamic and interactive web sources, including JavaScript-rendered content.
  • Validate scraped data through consistency checks, formatting verification, and systematic quality control.
  • Scale scraping operations for large datasets using batching or parallelization.
  • Monitor scraping failures and maintain stability when site structures change.
  • Support accurate and actionable results by combining automation with manual quality review.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in data engineering, web scraping, automation, or software development.
  • Strong Python web scraping experience using tools such as BeautifulSoup and Selenium, or similar.
  • Experience handling dynamic content such as JS, AJAX, infinite scroll, and APIs via proxies.
  • Proven ability to extract data from complex structures, including hierarchies, archived pages, and inconsistent HTML.
  • Solid background in data cleaning, normalization, and validation for structured outputs such as CSV, JSON, and Google Sheets.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs and AI frameworks for automation and problem-solving.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Self-directed work style with the ability to troubleshoot independently.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related technical field is a plus.
  • English proficiency at Upper-intermediate (B2) level or above.
  • A GitHub link is a plus.
