Description

  • Deploy and configure AWS resources for new product features in collaboration with Software Engineering.
  • Develop and update Infrastructure-as-Code templates using Terraform or CloudFormation to automate SaaS environment management.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain the health of Windows-based cloud instances to support high availability.
  • Assist with CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot deployment failures to minimize release disruption.
  • Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems such as CloudWatch.
  • Implement security best practices by managing IAM roles, VPC configurations, and security group updates.
  • Monitor resource utilization and support cost-optimization efforts by removing unused resources or adjusting instance types.
  • Participate in incident management by investigating alerts, performing initial root-cause analysis, and coordinating resolution with senior engineers and developers.
  • Contribute to documentation and help improve internal operational processes.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and perform scheduled after-hours technical work.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Hands-on experience supporting MSSQL environments, including database fundamentals and maintenance.
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Python for automation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative, self-organizing team environment.
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer - Associate or equivalent certification is highly desired.
  • Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. is required; the company cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
