Description

  • Design and build data infrastructure, pipelines, and data models for Business and Studio deliverables.
  • Develop APIs and data products to improve data integration across systems and processes.
  • Monitor data pipelines and communicate issues to leadership and partners.
  • Work with business partners and developers to document and agree on requirements for initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data availability, reliability, and accessibility.
  • Support Data Science, Business Intelligence, and downstream datasets with well-structured data models.
  • Coordinate cross-team and cross-functional efforts with developers and leadership.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure effective communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expert-level SQL or SQL-like query language skills.
  • Deep expertise in Python and experience organizing Python-based projects.
  • Extensive experience with Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
  • Strong ETL and ELT experience.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS and their services.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling methodologies such as Kimball, Inmon, and Data Vault.
  • Experience defining automated unit and integration testing frameworks for data projects is preferred.
  • Experience as a Business Intelligence or Business Analyst is preferred.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is preferred.
  • Experience with visualization tools is preferred.
  • Experience with data governance is preferred.
  • Experience with Snowflake is preferred.
  • Experience with CI/CD automation using GitLab is preferred.
  • Experience integrating data platforms into observability tools is preferred.
