Description

  • Develop and maintain iOS applications and features from requirements through App Store delivery.
  • Create fast, fluid, responsive, and reliable mobile application experiences.
  • Work closely with architects, product managers, and cross-functional teams on solution design and implementation.
  • Participate in the full development cycle using modern technologies, architectures, and processes.
  • Write clean, organized, and testable code, and maintain agreed test coverage levels.
  • Document code and take ownership of code through development, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Diagnose production issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Work both autonomously and collaboratively in an Agile environment.
  • Share knowledge and lead by example within the team.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Swift, Cocoa Touch, and other Apple frameworks.
  • Experience developing and maintaining iOS applications from requirements through App Store release.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision toward a shared team or company goal.
  • Experience creating fluid visual interactions and implementing mobile user experience patterns.
  • Strong focus on craftsmanship and producing high-quality solutions.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of mobile ecosystem trends, architectures, ideas, and technologies.
  • Team-player mindset with a willingness to share knowledge and lead by example.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Ability to produce clean code using software design patterns, architectural patterns, and data structures.
  • Nice-to-have: experience with FRP frameworks such as ReactiveCocoa or RxSwift, MVVM(-C), functional programming, CI/CD tools such as fastlane, Jenkins, Travis, or GoCD, testing code, and open source contributions.
