Description

  • Manage broadcast and peer-to-peer texting programs for 3-5 clients.
  • Draft fundraising, mobilization, and persuasion texts in each client’s authentic voice.
  • Build and quality-check texts while managing production workflows across assigned accounts.
  • Develop and maintain production calendars and content schedules for multiple clients.
  • Pull, compile, analyze, and synthesize texting performance metrics into reports.
  • Implement list growth strategies across paid and organic channels and coordinate with other departments on compliance alignment.
  • Execute vendor outreach for acquisition campaigns, including preparing vendor folders, exporting suppression files, and communicating budgets and timelines.
  • Produce and manage campaign assets such as flows, landing pages, and donation pages.
  • Propose and test ideas for segmentation, optimization, and send strategy.
  • Manage direct client communication, participate in client calls, and contribute to client projections with guidance.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in texting, digital fundraising, or a related field.
  • Peer-to-peer and/or broadcast texting experience is strongly preferred.
  • Previous digital fundraising experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage client projects largely without assistance.
  • Demonstrated commitment to and knowledge of progressive politics.
  • Strong copywriting skills with error-free writing.
  • Ability to adapt writing to different client voices and perspectives.
  • Strong attention to detail while managing tight deadlines and multiple content calendars.
  • Knowledge of ActBlue and other CRMs such as ActionKit, Action Network, and NGP is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of texting platforms such as Switchboard and Scale to Win is preferred but not required.
