Description

  • Work as part of a collaborative team delivering technical solutions supporting the highest levels of the federal government.
  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot enterprise voice, video, and collaboration platforms.
  • Configure and support session border controllers, voice gateways, dial plans, and Quality of Service for real-time traffic.
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert for operational issues with minimal ramp-up time.
  • Participate in Agile execution, planning, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Communicate technical issues, risks, and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Recommend technical improvements and architectural enhancements.
  • Support mission operations with urgency, accountability, and ownership.
  • Contribute immediately in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
  • Build customer trust through technical expertise and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Active U.S. Government-issued Top Secret security clearance or higher.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred; relevant experience may substitute for education.
  • DoD 8140 certification aligned to the 441 Network Operations Specialist work role, such as Network+, Security+, Cloud+, SSCP, CASP+, CISSP, or CCNP Security.
  • 10+ years of experience leading or assisting with review, design, and implementation of network engineering solutions.
  • Deep hands-on expertise supporting enterprise Unified Communications environments.
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Webex, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Hands-on experience with session border controllers, voice gateways, call routing, and Quality of Service for real-time traffic.
  • Hands-on experience with VQ Conference Manager, Jabber, Cisco telephony endpoints, and Cisco Expressway.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational voice and video issues in mission-critical environments.
  • Ability to contribute immediately in a mission-critical operational environment.
  • Essential personnel status; may be required to work during government shutdowns, emergencies, or other critical situations.
