Description

  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to design and implement automated technical solutions across multiple classification environments.
  • Work independently or with the team to address complex technical requirements.
  • Lead advanced troubleshooting by analyzing system and application logs using Linux command-line tools.
  • Perform root cause analysis for complex issues and develop mitigation strategies for service degradation.
  • Provide security guidance to development teams on secure coding practices, STIG compliance, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Support development teams with ATO efforts through security best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain technical documentation and promote engineering best practices.
  • Foster continuous team improvement.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
  • Certification that satisfies DoD 8140/8570, such as CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of experience as a DevSecOps Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Systems Engineer, or in a similar role.
  • Experience designing, deploying, and managing production-grade Kubernetes or OpenShift clusters.
  • Experience automating infrastructure with Ansible and Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience working in both on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Strong Linux experience and understanding.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab or equivalent.
  • Experience with containerization.
  • Experience with Helm chart development and STIGs is highly preferred.
