Description

  • Design, build, and maintain full-stack features and services using Ruby on Rails.
  • Develop and interact with PostgreSQL databases to support application data needs.
  • Implement and consume GraphQL APIs and related data layers.
  • Build responsive front-end interfaces using JavaScript and modern frameworks (preferably React; Vue/Angular candidates willing to learn React may apply).
  • Manage client-side state using Redux/Flux libraries.
  • Collaborate with engineering and professional services teams to shape delivery of software products for customers.
  • Contribute to evolving the professional services development team's practices and future direction.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience or equivalent demonstrated experience delivering software services or products.
  • Proficient in building Ruby on Rails applications.
  • Experience with recent Ruby on Rails versions (5.0 and later).
  • Experience with PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals.
  • Proficient in front-end development frameworks, preferably React (Vue/Angular experience acceptable if willing to learn React).
  • Experience using Redux/Flux libraries for state management.
  • React Native development experience is a plus (preferred).
