Description

  • Meet with wealth advisors, financial planners, and Wealth Solutions team members to review, fund, and maintain estate plans.
  • Review and summarize estate planning documents and recommend changes based on legal and family circumstance updates.
  • Answer estate planning questions from clients and advisor teams.
  • Serve as an in-house estate planning resource for wealth management teams nationwide.
  • Stay current on estate, trust, and tax legislation nationwide.
  • Support business development through presentations, thought leadership, and prospective client meetings.
  • Mentor and coach Estate Planning Strategists.
  • Manage a service specialist’s day-to-day work, training, calendars, time management, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Learn advanced planning strategies.
  • Build relationships and support a book of ultra-high-net-worth clients.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD).
  • Licensed to practice law in at least one state.
  • 4-8 years of legal experience in estate planning preferred.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex estate planning topics to wealth management teams and clients.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Availability to work standard business hours Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional early or late hours as needed.
  • Preferred location in Atlanta, New York City, Chicago, or Dallas, with expected in-office presence 1-2 days per month.
  • Ability to work in a professional office or dedicated home office environment free of interruptions.
  • Basic technology needs are provided to support the role.
  • Non-exempt roles must record time daily, including start/end times and a 30-minute unpaid lunch period.

  • Base pay range of $130,000 to $150,000 USD.
