Description

  • Own the architecture, design, and lifecycle of scalable data marts and data products aligned to key business domains.
  • Lead the design and development of data enrichment processes, data marts, and data pipelines for the enterprise data warehouse and care delivery products.
  • Partner with product, analytics, and business leaders to refine ambiguous requirements and validate solutions through prototyping and proofs of concept.
  • Apply healthcare and value-based care data expertise to architect scalable solutions across clinical and financial domains.
  • Define and standardize data product engineering best practices, including tooling, architecture patterns, and development methodologies.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship through guidance, code reviews, and architectural oversight.
  • Lead enterprise data initiatives supporting clinical, billing, coding, claims, and revenue cycle workflows.
  • Drive data governance, master data management, and data quality standards to support consistency, integrity, and compliance.
  • Act as a strategic advisor on enterprise data platform architecture and influence design decisions across data product solutions.
  • Balance scalability, performance, cost, data integrity, and compliance in architectural and design decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of data product engineering experience, including multiple years at a senior individual contributor level.
  • Deep healthcare data expertise with hands-on experience in data architecture, data warehousing, and engineering.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering data products that support value-based care business models.
  • Experience across payer and provider data domains, including claims, membership, EMR/EHR, clinical, eligibility (EDT), and care management data.
  • Strong experience building and optimizing enterprise data warehouse solutions, including dimensional modeling, medallion architecture, and scalable data platform design.
  • Demonstrated expertise in master data management (MDM), including governance, data standardization, and entity resolution.
  • High proficiency with SQL in a Snowflake environment, dbt, medallion-layer architecture, and modern and legacy data integration patterns.
  • Familiarity with the Tuva data model.
  • Experience supporting operational, financial, and analytical use cases through reliable data products.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and experience delivering data products in agile environments.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in value-based care, Medicaid, and/or safety-net healthcare environments.
