Description

  • Answer incoming phone calls from members and caregivers needing help with orders, products, billing, and other account services.
  • Guide callers through troubleshooting, website navigation, and effective use of company products and services.
  • Maintain accurate and complete knowledge of Medical Guardian products, services, and billing practices.
  • Perform account updates and document conversations to keep member records current.
  • De-escalate dissatisfied members by researching issues and providing solutions.
  • Promote additional products and services during service calls, including add-on sales to existing members.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve the member experience.
  • Meet personal and team qualitative and quantitative performance objectives.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of previous member service call center or member-facing experience is desired.
  • High school diploma is required; associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Computer proficiency and the ability to multitask are required.
  • Professional, enthusiastic, and kind demeanor with a passion for serving members is required.
  • Strong active listening skills with the ability to probe for appropriate resolution are required.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills are required.
  • Permanent residency in one of the listed states is required: AZ, DE, FL, GA, KY, KS, MA, MD, MI, NJ, NM, NV, OH, PA, SC, ID, IL, NC, TN, WV, UT, or TX.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
  • A dedicated private workspace with appropriate internet speed for working from home is required.
  • Equipment is provided.
