Description

  • Process payroll transactions, special calculations, employee data updates, journal entries, and time and labor activities while maintaining compliance.
  • Prepare monthly international payroll instructions for third-party vendors.
  • Retrieve payroll reports, collaborate with HR, conduct audits, and communicate findings to senior management.
  • Ensure payroll SOX compliance by maintaining secure procedures and internal controls.
  • Manage payroll issues for internal and external stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Identify and drive process improvement initiatives for benefit compliance, global mobility compliance, and payroll tax compliance.
  • Manage vendor relationships and provide process solutions to improve performance and implementation outcomes.
  • Support internal payroll projects and partner with the broader Payroll team on integrated solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of overall experience with full life cycle payroll in a global entity with a Bachelor's degree.
  • 3 years of experience with full life cycle payroll in a global entity with a Master's degree, or a PhD without experience, or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal payroll laws and regulations.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally in the tech industry.
  • Strong deadline management and prioritization skills with the ability to lead cross-functional collaborators.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to handle multiple competing requests.
  • Strong experience managing large datasets and using Excel.
  • Familiarity with Paylocity, Workday, and Intacct is preferred.
