Description

  • Collaborate with Account Executives and SDRs to prepare for and deliver technical product demonstrations to prospective public safety customers.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer environments, integrations, and constraints.
  • Document customer requirements clearly for internal teams.
  • Contribute to tender and proposal responses by answering technical questions and aligning platform capabilities to public sector requirements.
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering to understand the roadmap and communicate upcoming capabilities to customers.
  • Support deployment and technical services teams with accurate requirements handoff and mitigation of technical concerns during onboarding.
  • Balance strategic customer conversations with detailed documentation and demo preparation to keep proposals and materials accurate and effective.
  • Build trusted relationships with prospective and existing customers throughout the sales cycle.
  • Guide agencies through procurement and evaluation processes with confidence.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in enterprise software, solutions engineering, or technical pre-sales roles.
  • Significant experience supporting enterprise or public sector software sales.
  • Experience working with government or public safety organisations, ideally in policing, fire, or emergency services environments.
  • Familiarity with UK public sector procurement processes, including tenders and frameworks, and responding to technical questions within bid documents.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Confidence running structured, in-depth product demonstrations tailored to different stakeholder needs.
  • A solid understanding of the software product lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and ongoing support.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Eligibility for NPPV3 clearance and SC clearance, with the ability to successfully complete the vetting process sponsored by Mark43.
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the country where the role is hired, with no visa sponsorship available.
