Description

  • Define Mark43’s internal AI strategy, including which tools and workflows to use and what to build versus buy.
  • Maintain a prioritized roadmap of internal AI opportunities across the organization.
  • Act as the company’s internal subject matter expert on AI capabilities, tools, and emerging patterns.
  • Design and deploy agentic workflows and automation that reduce manual work.
  • Build executive-facing dashboards and decision-support tools that improve accountability.
  • Prototype AI solutions quickly and validate what works before scaling.
  • Drive AI literacy and adoption through training, documentation, and hands-on support.
  • Partner with department leads to identify and prioritize high-value AI use cases.
  • Work with the CISO and legal teams to ensure tools and workflows meet security and compliance standards.
  • Define internal AI use guidelines that enable effective use without unnecessary restrictions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience, with meaningful time at the intersection of AI, data, and business operations.
  • Hands-on experience building with modern AI tools, including LLMs, agentic frameworks, and workflow automation.
  • Enough technical depth to prototype independently and the strategic judgment to prioritize the right problems.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to work with engineers and explain business impact to executives.
  • Comfort operating as a team of one with high autonomy and low structure.
  • Experience in a regulated or mission-driven environment is preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the country where the role is hired.
  • Ability to work remotely from Canada, the UK, or one of the approved U.S. states listed in the posting.
