Description

  • Develop personalized legal strategies for each client based on their individual circumstances.
  • Review application packets, declarations, and motions for family-based petitions, consular processing, T-Visas, SIJS, VAWA, and waivers.
  • Provide constructive feedback and quality control oversight to paralegals and legal assistants.
  • Conduct initial case reviews to identify legal issues and assess client needs.
  • Represent clients in Adjustment of Status interviews before USCIS.
  • Serve as Attorney of the Day to provide legal guidance to the team and participate in operational meetings.
  • Participate in consultation day events and client consultations.
  • Work closely with paralegals, support staff, and community partners to deliver legal services.

Requirements

  • Active U.S. Bar license.
  • 2+ years of attorney experience reviewing complex immigration cases, including T-Visa, VAWA, U-Visa, and SIJS.
  • Fully bilingual English/Spanish with native or fluent proficiency.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, and immigration case management systems, including Camplegal.
  • Growth-oriented, can-do attitude with strong attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Availability to work 45 to 50 hours per week.
  • Experience working with vulnerable client populations (preferred).
  • Experience in family-based immigration and related relief types (preferred).
