Description

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and commercialization for hardware products.
  • Lead the roadmap and lifecycle management for the hardware product line.
  • Translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements and executable plans.
  • Partner with Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Support to deliver products.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, sales, marketing, operations, and engineering to shape product direction.
  • Gather and synthesize feedback from customers, users, and internal stakeholders to inform prioritization and decisions.
  • Support go-to-market activities including positioning, pricing, launch readiness, and sales enablement.
  • Contribute to long-term portfolio and platform strategy where hardware is a differentiator.
  • Travel up to 20% for customer and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience with significant ownership of hardware or hardware-centric products.
  • Strong understanding of hardware development lifecycles, including prototyping, validation, certification, and production.
  • Experience managing complex hardware products that are tightly coupled with software (preferred).
  • Prior experience in the Digital Forensics industry, Cybersecurity, or Law Enforcement (preferred).
  • Demonstrated customer empathy and ability to advocate for customer needs.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, including presenting to customers and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence across levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in a technology-related program, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, long development cycles, regulatory constraints, and operational trade-offs.
