Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable web applications and services for the Records business and client-facing platforms.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Communicate technical concepts, architectural decisions, tradeoffs, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Build and enhance APIs and backend services using C#/.NET and Microsoft Azure.
  • Develop responsive user experiences using React and modern UI frameworks when appropriate.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to improve development efficiency, code quality, and delivery speed.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical planning, and mentor other engineers when appropriate.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production applications for reliability and performance.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI capabilities, to improve engineering efficiency and business value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience developing and supporting production-grade applications.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing applications using C#/.NET.
  • Strong experience designing, deploying, and supporting cloud-native applications in Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and distributed applications.
  • Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with modern software architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience working in Agile software development environments.
  • Enthusiasm for AI-assisted software development and willingness to use modern AI tools in day-to-day work.
  • Experience with React and/or modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure Service Bus, Azure Key Vault, and related Azure services.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD platforms.
  • Experience with Git, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience integrating applications with AI or machine learning services, including Azure OpenAI or similar platforms.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar technologies.
  • Experience in legal technology, healthcare, financial services, or other regulated industries.
