Description

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers while fostering a collaborative engineering culture.
  • Provide technical direction for the design, development, and maintenance of scalable web applications and services.
  • Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, AI engineers, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools to improve team productivity and code quality.
  • Architect and build APIs and services using Node.js or .NET Core.
  • Oversee front-end development using React and modern UI frameworks to deliver high-quality user experiences.
  • Conduct code reviews, lead architectural discussions, and improve engineering practices and standards.
  • Own and improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing strategies, and DevOps processes.
  • Support deployed solutions by resolving issues, implementing fixes, and optimizing performance.
  • Participate in project planning, estimation, and prioritization to align engineering work with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production-grade applications and services.
  • 2+ years of experience in an engineering lead role, including supervision or management of a team, project, or product.
  • 3+ years of experience with Node.js or .NET Core in a production environment.
  • Experience with public cloud services.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Preferred: Experience with capacity planning, sprint management, or other engineering management practices.
  • Preferred: Proficiency in React and/or Material UI (MUI).
  • Preferred: Experience with Git and modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and containerization.
  • Preferred: Experience with AI-assisted code generation tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
  • Preferred: Experience with Python for scripting, automation, or backend development.
  • Preferred: Experience with PostgreSQL or a similar relational database management system.
  • Preferred: Experience in legal tech, health tech, or other regulated industries.
  • Preferred: Experience with Azure.
  • Preferred: Experience integrating software solutions with AI/ML services and APIs.
