Description

  • Clean up motion capture data to a high standard under the guidance of the Lead Animator and internal team.
  • Transform rough animation into final, production-ready animation while preserving the actor’s intent, timing, and performance.
  • Ensure shots meet studio quality standards and production deadlines.
  • Follow established pipelines, naming conventions, and file-management practices.
  • Maintain continuity of animation quality across assigned tasks and the broader project.
  • Coordinate with producers and supervisors to support project goals.
  • Collaborate with designers, concept artists, technical artists, and animators on immersive visual work.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an animator in a studio production pipeline.
  • Strong understanding of animation principles.
  • Experience animating humanoid characters, creatures, props, and weapons.
  • Experience cleaning motion capture data.
  • Creative problem-solving skills for animation-related tasks.
  • Strong communication skills, a team-player mindset, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to receive objective feedback and take direction from leads and supervisors.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Proficiency with Maya and MotionBuilder.
  • Experience working on a AAA game title or high-end film production is a plus.
  • Previous experience on large-scale productions or long-form projects is a plus.
  • Familiarity with animation scripts, rigging, and motion capture systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Slack, JIRA, and Confluence is a plus.
