Description

  • Assist the animation team in creating high-quality animations for projects.
  • Clean up motion capture data and improve rough animations under the guidance of senior animators.
  • Follow established pipelines, naming conventions, and file-management practices.
  • Maintain continuity of animation quality across tasks and projects.
  • Coordinate with producers and supervisors to achieve project goals.
  • Collaborate with designers, concept artists, technical artists, and animators to support production needs.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience as an animator in a studio production pipeline; internships or academic projects are acceptable.
  • Basic understanding of animation principles.
  • Experience animating humanoid characters and props.
  • Experience with cleaning motion capture data.
  • Creative problem-solving ability for animation-related tasks.
  • Strong communication skills, a team player mindset, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to respond to constructive feedback and take direction from leads and supervisors.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard software, particularly Maya and Motion Builder.
  • Preferred: experience working on a game title or in film production.
  • Preferred: familiarity with animation scripts, rigging, and motion capture systems.
  • Preferred: knowledge of communication tools such as Slack, JIRA, and Confluence.
