Description

  • Design and maintain connected Schema.org graphs using stable entity references and appropriate JSON-LD injection strategies.
  • Extend structured data and content architecture for AI search, answer engines, retrieval systems, and agent visibility.
  • Own Core Web Vitals using CrUX and RUM data, supported by Lighthouse, WebPageTest, and trace analysis.
  • Diagnose and improve rendering paths, hydration, bundles, third-party scripts, fonts, images, caching, CDNs, and main-thread performance.
  • Translate technical findings into implementation specifications, review pull requests, and establish performance budgets and CI guardrails.
  • Work with Next.js, React, Astro-class frameworks, SSR, SSG, ISR, CDNs, edge workers, and image pipelines.
  • Own JavaScript SEO, including rendering behavior, hydration, dynamic rendering, crawler output, and indexing.
  • Manage crawl and index architecture, including logs, crawl budgets, faceted navigation, pagination, canonicals, duplication, and soft 404s.
  • Lead technical SEO for migrations and replatforming, including redirects, URL taxonomy, staged cutovers, and monitoring.
  • Analyze Search Console, GA4, crawler, server, SQL, and Python data to distinguish technical regressions from algorithmic or seasonal changes.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 6+ years of dedicated SEO experience, primarily focused on technical SEO.
  • Demonstrated expertise designing and maintaining multi-entity Schema.org graphs.
  • Proven experience guiding development teams through performance optimization using before-and-after field data.
  • Working proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git, pull-request review, Python, and SQL.
  • Ability to read modern JavaScript framework codebases and specify, defend, and review engineering changes.
  • Experience owning technical SEO for at least one large site migration or replatform.
  • Strong written communication for producing precise engineering guidance.
  • Availability for daily overlap with US working hours.
  • Experience with B2B technology or enterprise services, cloud, data, AI, LLM visibility, custom SEO tooling, or edge/CDN platforms is preferred.
