Description

  • Build and scale core data infrastructure, pipelines, and services that power company products.
  • Design and implement a robust data warehouse for analytics and operational use cases.
  • Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines and curated datasets.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Write production code on a daily basis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with physicians, therapists, data scientists, data analysts, and product managers.
  • Take ownership of work and lead cross-functional projects.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to other team members.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Proven experience writing high-quality, production-ready Python.
  • Experience delivering impactful, scalable data projects.
  • Expertise in SQL-based data modeling and transformation frameworks such as dbt.
  • Strong focus on schema management, performance, and data governance.
  • Experience with modern ingestion tools such as Airbyte, Fivetran, and Change Data Capture (CDC).
  • Hands-on experience building robust, fault-tolerant pipelines with Apache Airflow, including custom alerting, advanced logging, and automated retries.
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics tools such as Sigma or Tableau.
  • Strong knowledge of Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse architecture, including Snowpipe and Apache Iceberg.
  • Strong knowledge of Snowflake administration, including security compliance, RBAC, external authentication methods, and downstream data consumption in external platforms.
  • Strong QA-first engineering mindset with experience in end-to-end data quality assurance, regression testing, and data validation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies and performance-tune complex pipelines.
  • Preferred: strong foundational knowledge of relational databases, core data warehousing principles, and dimensional modeling techniques.
  • Preferred: experience working with sensitive data such as PII/PHI in healthcare or similarly regulated environments, including data masking or redaction.
  • Preferred: familiarity with DevOps principles and infrastructure automation using Terraform.
  • Preferred: ability to balance high engineering standards with tight deadlines.
  • Preferred: excellent communication skills and ability to build consensus and distill complex technical problems into business priorities.

  • Annual base salary range of $128,000 to $176,000.
