Description

  • Support clients through brief assessment, psychoeducation, care planning, and connection to treatment or community resources.
  • Use an assessment rubric to determine whether neuropsychological testing is indicated and whether virtual or in-person testing is appropriate.
  • Provide psychoeducational training to caregivers of children and teens with neurodiverse conditions.
  • Serve as a neurodiversity subject matter expert and consult with cross-functional and clinical teams on best practices.
  • Manage a caseload of complex, multi-need neurodiverse clients through collaborative case management.
  • Facilitate ongoing client engagement and support readiness for treatment using neuroaffirming strategies.
  • Manage client crises by completing brief risk assessments and connecting clients to crisis or treatment resources.
  • Respond to callers seeking crisis support by offering brief, evidence-based coping skills.
  • Communicate with clients and providers through email, phone, care portal/EHR, and videoconferencing.
  • Coordinate care with health plans, billing, and clinical/support teams and provide feedback to leadership for program improvement.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree required.
  • BCBA certification and/or independent licensure required.
  • The company is unable to provide supervised hours toward licensure.
  • Significant experience managing neurodiversity-related clinical situations, with preference for case management experience.
  • Experience providing training or education on behavior and neurodiversity-related topics to caregivers and/or clients.
  • Deep understanding of the neurodiversity care navigation landscape at national, state, and regional levels for children and adults.
  • Comfort working in an environment with constantly evolving responsibilities.
  • Ability to provide short-term support via phone, videoconferencing, and email.
  • Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred but not required.
  • Pacific Time Zone availability is preferred but not required.
  • Must be a full-time resident of the United States.
