Description

  • Exceed annual quota by bringing in new Bend Health partners and closing deals.
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities independently and in collaboration with Bend and Lyra lead generation partners.
  • Inspire and educate senior executives and partner leadership about Bend’s mental health offerings and the US mental health care system.
  • Communicate Bend’s value proposition verbally, in writing, and quantitatively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Lead and negotiate contracting discussions with medical directors, administrators, network contracting, finance, and procurement executives.
  • Document deal progress and maintain accurate pipeline data to support business growth and forecasting.
  • Coordinate with Bend and Lyra Customer Success to ensure smooth implementations and ongoing client management.
  • Build and expand relationships with contracted health systems to grow referral volume and increase scope of covered/referred services.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Finance, and other internal teams to deliver integrated solutions and scale partnerships.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, consulting, or comparable roles.
  • Experience selling directly to health systems or consulting with health systems is preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 40% for customer meetings.
  • Must be physically located within commuting distance to Philadelphia due to travel requirements.
  • Skilled negotiator on business terms and able to navigate complex contracting discussions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Quantitative mindset with comfort using Excel/Google Sheets to build business cases and analyze data.
  • Comfortable creating presentations in PowerPoint/Google Slides and telling compelling stories to influence stakeholders.
  • Passion for mental health, intellectual curiosity, tenacity, strong project management/organization, and empathy.
