Description

  • Contribute to key architectural decisions and support a large-scale reimagining of the Site Generation and Site Builder experience
  • Design and build cloud-native APIs, backend services, and front-end experiences used across the platform to support website building
  • Own major features and services and drive meaningful improvements to platform architecture
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and AI teams to deliver AI-powered workflows integrated into site building experiences
  • Write clean, testable, scalable code across the full stack
  • Deliver high-quality features quickly in rapid prototyping environments and iterate based on feedback
  • Operate independently with limited product/design guidance while effectively communicating with partners and stakeholders
  • Empathize with internal and external customers to prioritize and shape solutions (customer-first mindset)

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack engineering, leaning backend; ideally supported a product from MVP to scale
  • Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React
  • Familiarity with modern AI tools and experience developing AI-driven solutions is a plus; experience with Claude Code is required
  • Experience with scalable microservice architectures, with AWS preferred
  • Solid command of GraphQL, event-driven systems (Kafka, SQS), and distributed databases
  • Experience with data stores and search technologies such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Elasticsearch
  • Familiarity with infrastructure and tooling including Kubernetes and AWS Lambda
  • Experience with Python for ETLs and exposure to AI frameworks/tools (LangChain, LangFuse, OpenRouter, Mastra) is a plus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently and integrate feedback quickly
  • Position is remote and targeted to candidates based in Latin America (LATAM)
