Description

  • Serve as the central resource for establishing and tracking software releases.
  • Act as the user champion when coordinating software releases inside the flashing area.
  • Manage the in-house ECU software release process with the test team, operations, and contract manufacturers.
  • Collaborate with TPMs, software engineers, and test engineers to implement and maintain release solutions and processes.
  • Support other teams by providing software file locations, flashing tools, traceability information, and other requested details for engineering builds and production.
  • Communicate regularly with test engineers on activities and status for all assigned programs.
  • Review, track, and sign off on all SW DEVREQs/ECRs for internal and external ECUs.
  • Manage multiple concurrent releases, builds, and deployments from development through production rollout.
  • Manage pre-release software testing in the manufacturing test lab, CM, and internal sites.
  • Track open software issues affecting teams and drive them to resolution.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair damaged harnesses, connectors, and wiring used in ECU flashing and test stations.
  • Identify and resolve computer connection issues, including USB, Ethernet, serial, diagnostic interface, and flashing tool communication problems.
  • Maintain and support test station computers, including Windows troubleshooting, software setup, driver installation, network connectivity, and peripheral configuration.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in electronics to end customers.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a technical role.
  • Experience in high-volume consumer or enterprise environments, with automotive ECU experience as a strong plus.
  • Working knowledge of computers, Windows operating systems, wiring diagrams, harness repair, connector pinouts, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple organizations across different cultures and regions.
  • Ability to work in a small, motivated group within a larger organization.
  • Knowledge of the UDS standard at a user level (preferred).
  • Knowledge of CAN and DoIP protocols at a user level (preferred).
  • Automotive experience (preferred).
