Description

  • Design and build the AI platform layer including data pipelines, model serving infrastructure, and integration patterns that connect ML models to Lone Wolf products.
  • Productionize AI/ML capabilities by taking models from prototype to production and owning reliability, performance, and scalability.
  • Architect data pipelines to ingest, transform, and serve data from Lone Wolf’s ecosystem to power AI features.
  • Set technical standards and patterns for AI engineering across the Innovation team (model serving, feature stores, monitoring, rollout strategies).
  • Ensure models and features are designed for production constraints from the start rather than retrofitted later.
  • Evaluate and integrate AI/ML tooling (LLM APIs, vector databases, orchestration frameworks, cloud AI services) and make build-vs-buy decisions.
  • Provide architectural guidance and influence technical direction across product and engineering teams on how to integrate AI capabilities.
  • Rapidly prototype end-to-end proofs of concept to validate feasibility before committing to full builds.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with increasing scope and technical complexity.
  • Proven experience productionizing ML/AI models and making data science outputs work reliably at scale.
  • Experience building data ingestion, transformation, and serving systems using tools like Snowflake, S3, Kafka, or similar.
  • Strong cloud-native architecture skills; AWS preferred (experience with Lambda, Batch, S3, SageMaker, Bedrock) and designing serverless/event-driven systems.
  • Full-stack technical range including backend services and APIs (e.g., Java/Spring Boot or similar) and sufficient frontend awareness to build or review internal tools.
  • Experience in platform/infrastructure roles enabling other teams to ship faster.
  • Excellent judgment on tradeoffs between building robust solutions and shipping quickly.
  • Familiarity with LLM integration patterns (prompt engineering, RAG architectures, agent frameworks) and vector databases (preferred).
  • Experience with real estate technology, MLS data, proptech platforms, data-intensive optimization domains, or high-growth/early-stage companies is a plus.
  • Track record of mentoring engineers and raising technical standards across teams, and comfort rapidly prototyping end-to-end solutions.
