Description

  • Evaluate current processes and implement necessary improvements or changes.
  • Continuously develop team members and their skillsets.
  • Stay current on changes in the real estate industry and applicable laws.
  • Work directly with clients to understand their needs and relay information to the team.
  • Build, update, and maintain database tables.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver optimal results and a smooth client experience.
  • Design, develop, test, and continuously improve products in a team setting.
  • Give and receive constructive feedback in a peer review environment.
  • Stay up to date on product updates and software releases.
  • Enforce company policies, manage escalations, and resolve high-priority issues.
  • Maintain coding, compliance, and security standards.
  • Make informed decisions using data and subject-matter knowledge.
  • Hire, train, and manage the performance of team members.
  • Approve vacation and personal time-off requests for direct reports.
  • Provide growth opportunities through professional development, company resources, and your network.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and full software development lifecycle best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Experience influencing software engineering best practices within a team.
  • Understanding of basic project management principles.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience managing direct reports.
  • Experience training, leading, or mentoring team members.
  • 2-5 years of experience as a front-end developer or database administrator.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.
