Description

Create and strategize high-quality SEO-optimized content for internal and external audiences.
Conduct site research, keyword research, and content development to support client marketing efforts.
Write keyword-rich content across a variety of industries, topics, trends, and industry updates.
Optimize articles, landing pages, metadata, and other content for organic exposure and conversions.
Publish optimized content in the CMS and across social channels following industry standards.
Review, edit, and optimize SEO, paid media, and email marketing content created by team members.
Develop SEO, paid media, and email marketing content strategies tailored to client goals and challenges.
Collaborate cross-functionally with web, paid, and creative teams to deliver initiatives on time.
Stay current on digital marketing trends, analytics, and content developments and share insights with the team.
Help train content support staff on basic management and setup tasks.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of SEO, paid media, and email marketing as they relate to content marketing.
Experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMRush.
Strong creative writing, critical analysis, and editing skills with SEO best practices.
Understanding of local search optimization.
Basic HTML knowledge as it relates to SEO.
Ability to implement foundational SEO recommendations in a WordPress environment.
Ability to apply best practices and content strategy across social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.
Excellent analytical, organizational, project management, and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as English, Journalism, Communication, or Marketing.
At least 3 years of experience writing for online publications.
